Biography
Sekar is a versatile communications professional with well-rounded experience in developing and delivering strategic communication initiatives from concept to execution. She brings a keen ability to interpret data insights and transform them into clear, compelling narratives and strategies that drive engagement and measurable outcomes.
A graduate of Communication Studies from the University of Indonesia, Sekar has always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire change. Her curiosity and drive led her to the consulting world, where she continues to explore how strategic communication can influence, engage, and move people. Her addition to Kiroyan Partners’ team brings fresh perspective, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of audience-centric communication.
Experiences
Sekar began her career managing social media for a state-owned housing company and an NGO, where she gained hands-on experience addressing varied communication objectives. This early exposure shaped her adaptability and interest in audience-centric communication.
She then expanded her capabilities through branding and cultural research projects with local and regional companies, which deepened her understanding of consumer behavior and market positioning.
Her career progressed further through her collaboration with a leading FMCG company, where she supported strategic communication efforts and contributed to brand localization initiatives tailored for Indonesian consumers.
Alongside this, Sekar built a strong portfolio in strategic communications across industries such as dairy, beauty, financial services, digital banking, and home care. She was involved end-to-end—conducting consumer research, gathering and analyzing data, extracting actionable insights, defining communication direction, and executing campaigns across various digital and offline platforms.
With this cross-sector experience, Sekar joined Kiroyan Partners in 2025 as an Analyst to deepen her expertise in internal communications and employee engagement. In her current role, she is involved in internal communication initiatives aimed at enhancing employee alignment, engagement, and organizational culture.
