Biography
Dr. Bayu Prawira Hie is the Senior Expert for Healthcare and Digital Business Transformation at Kiroyan Partners. He has a unique set of skills as a medical practitioner, business executive and management expert aside from being an accomplished trainer as well. After obtaining his degree in Medical Doctor from the University of Indonesia and subsequent exposures in the field, he broadened his expertise by earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University. Since then, he has had extensive experience in various strategic positions as a decision-maker in growing and managing companies and as a prominent educator in management and leadership.
His expertise in the healthcare sector and business skills were successfully out to achieve recent managerial successes. Under his leadership as the Senior Vice President for Marketing at PT Indocare Citrapasific, the company acquired the best revenue and profit in history, and its product Holisticare Ester-C became the market leader and experienced fourfold sales within a year. Furthermore, as the Corporate Secretary for Pyridam Farma Tbk, he took the company public in the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
Dr. Bayu has a rich portfolio and outstanding teaching qualifications as an educator. He is one of the very few educators from Indonesia who completed the course for case-based teaching at the Harvard Business School. He is an alumnus of the prestigious National Resilience Institute (LEMHANNAS/Lembaga Ketahanan Nasional) RI course for national leaders. He also holds a Ph.D. in Management with a research focus on leadership in business digital transformation.
Experience
Dr. Bayu’s professional experience ranges from executive positions in various companies to teaching career in Corporate Management and Communications and notable involvement in business associations. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Intellectual Business Community, an organization that aims to build a network between business executives, CEOs and owners of companies from various industries. He serves as Secretary-General of the Association of Digital Entrepreneurs in Indonesia and has been recently appointed as the President of Advance Pegasus International. This company explores the e-learning method for Indonesian students to get the best quality education and aims to bring more Indonesian students to top universities globally.
His teaching career has spanned more than 19 years. He has been teaching Post-Graduate and Magister Management programs at the University of Indonesia, Binus University, Pelita Harapan University, Mercu Buana University and London School of Public Relations. He also works as a trainer and consultant for Corporate Strategy and Strategic Human Resources with prominent clients such as Pertamina, Telkom, Jababeka and ISS Group.
Furthermore, his association experience includes Secretary-General for Alumni Association PPSA-19 Lemhannas RI and Judge for Business Review Awards.
