Biography
With a background in psychology, Talita followed her interest in the communications field with her strong observational skill and analytical thinking. Her years of experience interacting with different cultures from having lived in several Indonesian cities—including Bandung, Makassar, Surabaya, and Medan—have also enrichen her perspectives. A self-starter and perceptive team player, Talita is a valuable addition to the team.
Experience
Starting her first career move as a freelance translator and copywriter, Talita was first exposed to the consulting world when she joined Kiroyan Partners as Consultant in 2015. The fast-paced and dynamic nature of public affairs consulting, added with highly competent team environment, had immediately attracted her. She was involved in a variety of projects, from social research to strategic communications planning.
She then expanded her network when she moved to Medan, North Sumatra, and worked alongside the province’s Regional Planning Agency (Bappeda Sumut) as Province Coordinator for a bilateral cooperation project by the Japanese Ministry of Environment. The experience has sharpened her skill in project management, local stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications.
Being someone with interest in various areas, Talita continues to seek professional opportunities to enrich her insights and experience. Her next move was to join an international non-profit organization Translators Without Borders (currently also known as Clear Global), where she also volunteers, as Social Media Analyst for the organization’s COVID-19 Crisis Response Project in early 2020. She was then recruited for the same contract position by Internews Europe in late 2020.
Having more grasp and experience in the public affairs and strategic communications field, Talita returned to Kiroyan Partners in 2021 as Communications Specialist. To date, she is still active as a translator and copywriter, as well as is a co-founder of ANOA Strategic Writing Agency, assisting clients in producing high-quality written communications materials.
