Challenges
An international F&B company intended to develop a sustainable sourcing strategy for cocoa and coffee plantation in Indonesia. Aiming at building the capacity and welfare of cocoa and coffee farmers, the company needed to consult and establish a good relationship with government both at national and local level.

Our Approach
To equip the company with an appropriate and effective strategy, Kiroyan Partners thoroughly analyzed the relevant issues as well as governmental stakeholders. We organized and facilitated important meetings with government officials, including the ones from technical ministries. Based on the results of these meetings, we obtained comprehensive understanding on the stakeholders’ perceptions and concerns related to the company’s objective.

Results
Based on the result of these issues and stakeholders analysis, the client benefited from advice and recommendations on engagement strategy, especially for government as the key stakeholder.
