Context
A leading telecommunications group in Indonesia undertook a multi-phase transformation, including organizational restructuring and the integration of business units as part of its Fixed-Mobile Convergence strategy. The process involved multiple entities, stakeholders, and stages, each requiring careful communication to ensure alignment and continuity.
Challenges
The transformation introduced complex communication demands across internal and external fronts. Employee understanding needed to be strengthened, particularly around structural changes and HR-related programs, while stakeholders—including shareholders, regulators, and labor groups—required consistent and credible messaging. At the same time, the organization needed to anticipate potential issues and maintain a stable public narrative throughout the transition.
Our Approach
Kiroyan Partners supported the transformation through a structured and phased communication approach. This began with an internal communication audit to assess existing gaps and inform strategy development. We then designed communication frameworks and playbooks to guide messaging, escalation, and coordination across teams. Our support extended to issue monitoring, development of communication materials, and ongoing strategic advisory to ensure consistency across internal and external channels. Throughout the process, we worked closely with leadership and communication teams to align messaging with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Impact
The organization achieved stronger alignment across employees and stakeholders during the transformation process. Internal communication became more structured and targeted, improving awareness and understanding of key initiatives. At the same time, coordinated messaging and engagement contributed to positive stakeholder support and media coverage, reinforcing the credibility and overall success of the transformation.
