Anang Rizkani Noor was appointed Vice Chairman of Public Relations consulting firm Kiroyan Partners. What is his career history like?

Public relations and public affairs consulting firm PT Komunikasi Kinerja, also known as Kiroyan Partners (KP), has officially appointed Anang Rizkani Noor as the Vice Chairman of the company’s Board of Commissioners. Anang’s appointment was decided at the Kiroyan Partners’ Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in April 2023.

Although it is the first time Anang joined the company’s Board of Commissioners, he is not a stranger to Kiroyan Partners as he had taken the position as the company’s Director & Principal Consultant back in 2011-2017. Kiroyan Partners’ founder and President Commissioner, Noke Kiroyan, revealed that the appointment of the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) alumni was the right decision with Anang’s expertise and insights to help strengthen the company’s business.

“I am also confident that with his new position, Anang will be able to oversee the company and provide input and direction to the directors for a better running of the company in the future,” said Noke Kiroyan.

Taking on his new role, Anang expressed his enthusiasm about his new responsibility. He said that working in the communications field has always been something that he wanted to delve deeper. Moreover, the former Vice President of Corporate Communications of PT Pertamina (Persero) has known Kiroyan Partners for more than six years. “The communication aspect of the company is paying attention to environmental and sustainability elements which are very relevant to my personal values,” said Anang.

25 years as a communication practitioner

Anang is a well-known figure in the field of communications, and his expertise as a practitioner is recognized by many. He has more than 25 years of experience working in multinational companies and state-owned enterprises such as Chevron, Rio Tinto Group, Petrosea, and Pertamina to name a few. During 2008-2010, Anang led Pertamina’s crisis management team in several incidents, including the Pertamina Depot fire in Plumpang, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta in 2009.

Anang also served as President Director of PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals. Most recently, he served as Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT Transportasi Jakarta (PT Transjakarta) until February 2023.

“Thank you to Kiroyan Partners for this great opportunity and trust. With my various experiences in the communications field, including government, media, and community relations, I believe I can help drive the company forward with strategic solutions,” he concluded.
