Since born in Jakarta in 1996, Safira spent her childhood and pursued her education in the capital city. Her curiosity and interest in international and social affairs grew in early age from watching her grandfather worked as an Ambassador and reading newspapers with her parents.
As she went to USA with her school mates in 2012 to participate in YouthCAN Conference in New York and had a meeting with then-Ambassador to and World Bank Group Managing Director, she knew she wanted to focus her study on social sciences, as the trip enlightened her to the endless possibilities of work and experiences that the multidisciplinary field may brought.
During her uni days, Safira participated in MavenPRO, a student-led communications consulting club at University of Indonesia for two consecutive terms as a consultant and organizing committee member, where she partnered with Edelman Indonesia and other consulting firms for a variety of consulting project and capacity development programs. As she experiments with more hands-on experience in the consulting industry, Safira did a brief stint as an Intern at Leo-Burnett Indonesia in 2016.
Safira earned her social and political sciences degree from University of Indonesia with major in communication studies. She then went on to work as a communication and public affairs consultant ever since.
Prior to joining Kiroyan Partners in February 2021, Safira kickstarted her consulting career at Burson, Cohn & Wolfe (BCW) Indonesia (formerly Burson-Marsteller). Throughout her years 3.5-year venture with the firm, Safira was involved in variety of advisory projects including media engagement, stakeholder mapping and engagement, issues monitoring, policy issues and analysis, campaigns, as well as business development.
This position has allowed her to develop skills in developing and maintaining working relationships with various stakeholders (media, private sector, government agencies, NGOs, etc.), research and analysis, writing, communications, and project management among others.

She is also the key person behind creative designs of the company’s collateral, including presentation materials, reports, and credentials.
Jennifer has always been interested in helping other people connect with each other. To pursue her education in communication, she departed to Australia and received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Deakin University with distinction. She also gained some experience in Australia by interning at two notables public relations agencies in Australia, where she learned more about media relations and content writing.
