Born in Medan in 1993, Fauzi moved to the capital to pursue his bachelor degree in International Relations in University of Indonesia. Fauzi has always been interested in socio-political issues, particularly his participation as a delegate of Indonesia’s Young Envoys in 2011 – endorsed by Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs – has inspired him to become a diplomat. To obtain his bachelor degree, Fauzi wrote his thesis on the Uzbekistan’s hedging policy and behavior towards the contestation of global major power in Central Asia.
Fauzi first joined Kiroyan Partners in 2015 as an intern with media and issues monitoring as his main tasks. After completing his internship, in 2016 Fauzi was recruited as Project Officer involved in the project of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. He was responsible for conducting research and also developing the findings into a comprehensive position paper that identifies the current trade-relation circumstances, as well as the prospect of the countries cooperation in the years to come. Due to his good performance, Fauzi was recruited in the same year to become Consultant at Kiroyan Partners.
During his study, Fauzi was involved in various extra-curricular activities. In 2014, he was the chairman of International Relations Students Association in Universitas Indonesia, while concurrently the member of youth-led Indonesian Student Association for International Studies (ISAFIS). He was also a member of Indonesian delegation for Korea Model United Nations 2013 in Seoul, South Korea. Recently, he was the active member of Aberdeen Indonesia Student’s Association (PPI Aberdeen) in his post-graduate time.

A journalist by trade, Rahmad’s deep passion in journalism sparked when he was still in high school, persevered at the university, and matured as it became his choice of career despite having obtained prestigious degree in aeronautics engineering from the University of Gadjah Mada.
