A leading textile producer faced reputational risk after one of its employees was charged with forgery by a former owner. Although the company believed its staff member was innocent, it did note that the prosecution was marked by several inconsistencies that tend to be unfavorable and may lead to an unfair court decision.

Our approach
Kiroyan Partners devised a public relations strategy designed to increase media coverage and public awareness of the case and, in turn, ensure a fair court proceeding.

The media attention was significant and emphasized flaws in the case, which put pressure resulting in a fair trial for the company’s employee, who was fully acquitted. Furthermore, the company was allowed to maintain its reputation in the marketplace despite the trial.
