Meizar was born in Purwakarta, West Java, Indonesia. He specialized in linguistics in college, which built the foundation for his skill and familiarity in in-depth critical discourse analysis and multimodal media analysis. He specializes in issues management, media monitoring, desktop research, and media analysis.
While studying at the Indonesia University of Education in Bandung, Meizar interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and later worked as a personal assistant cum interpreter at the Embassy of Pakistan, and a translator for the Press and Culture Attaché.
While at the embassy, Meizar built a network of media professionals. He also worked as an English trainer at the Ibis Hotel, Bandung, where he taught the hotel’s managers, supervisors, and staff.
