Ananda Idris appointed as Alternate Director since August 2016, spent nearly 30 years in the oil and gas industry before joining Kiroyan Partners as Council of Experts in 2014.
Ananda started his career as a junior engineer in the Consortium SB/SAE/Colas (France) that constructed Jakarta International Airport (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport). He also worked for four years as the Mechanical & Engineering Department coordinator of PT Sagita Dumez, a subsidiary of the French construction company DUMEZ TP.
In 1986, he became the gas studies engineer at Total Indonésie (today called Total E&P Indonésie), a subsidiary of Total SA (France). Before retiring in 2008 as vice president of corporate affairs, he served as the public affairs division manager and vice president for government and media relations.
After his retirement, he worked at Statoil Indonesia from 2008-2011 as general manager of government and public affairs. He then left corporate life to become the deputy head of the National Secretariat, National Task Force for the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), a joint project of the World Bank and the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs.
