Case Study 1

A major precious metal mining project is finally getting off the ground after the Contract of Work changed hands several times during the last decade, leading to skepticism among the surrounding communities.

To develop the asset responsibly it is important that stakeholders are identified accurately and their perceptions and expectations ascertained. Community development programs then need to be planned on the basis of a Community Needs Assessment study  to ensure that the programs are aligned with the needs and expectations of stakeholders.  Kiroyan Partners assisted the client in preparing all the required studies and plans of action in a multi-year process.
